Our statement regarding the Covid-19 outbreak

Marin Post Acute

Marin Post Acute is making every effort to minimize the exposure of COVID-19 to our residents and staff. Our number one priority is the safety of all the individuals who live in our community. With all of the directives from CMS, California Department of Health, California Governor, and the President of the United States, we will be restricting all visitors in the facility, including non-essential vendors, starting Thursday March 12th, 2020 @4:30pm, until further notice. We are closely monitoring the situation daily and as soon as we feel the safety of our residents will not be compromised with visitors, we will lift the restrictions. The only exception with this restriction will be in the case of “end of life” care after passive and active screening requirements have been met including ensuring that your temperature does not meet or exceed 100 degrees.

In the meantime the facility has several means of audiovisual communication available for video calls via FaceTime, Skype and Zoom for larger family conversations with a loved one. You can schedule a time to connect with a loved one by emailing info@marinpostacute.com to schedule a time.
